POIZIN
We shared a bottle!
Armida 2002 Zinfandel
Sonoma County, a deep, thick red wine, like blood!
"As she stands in the clearing the cold wind dances through the trees, swirling her golden mane over her diaphanous, silken black gown. The full moon melts into the paleness of her skin. As she stirs the cauldron of Zinfandel she chants an other worldly incantation. From vials as old as the echoes of time she adds minute pinches of her ancestry. Her slender fingers rub together as the grains fall, releasing their magic as they touch the fermenting must. On her face is the look of both good and evil, of love and hate, of life and sex and all that stirs you. What is this unearthly potion?
It is POIZIN, the wine to die for.
Thus reads the label.

Ghostly Ghosts
"When you hear the owls hooting,
Get your jack o' lantern out,
Put on your shroud and hurry,
For ghosts should be about."

Haunted Cemetery
The night winds howl,
the wind blows ghosts about,
the cemetery is alive
with haunting sounds.
Enter if you dare!

Super MOON
On March 19, 2011, a full Moon of rare size and beauty rose in the east at sunset.
It was a super "perigee moon" - the biggest in almost 20 years.
A "supermoon" is the coincidence of a full moon (or a new moon) with the closest approach the Moon makes to the Earth on its elliptical orbit, or perigee, leading to the technical name for a supermoon.
And once again we were able to see the man in the moon up close and personal! He's always there!

As viewed in different states, the color changes were amazing...ranging from pure white, to gold, to blue, to red...
